This is not a team, it's an audience. This structure is usually a top down communication flow. Information is passed down from the top. Contributions from the team members doesn't get to the manager. Their individual skills and perspectives are not considered in planning.
Open communication from every team member to every other team member makes a team dynamic, effective, and productive. Use all of your resources. Respect everyone's input. Good ideas can come from anywhere. The team's work isn't done until the client says, "I love it." That's a win for the everyone on the team.
Apprenticing passes gained experience on to junior team members. Junior members of a team learn and benefit from the experience of senior members. This relationship fosters an inclusive team attitude.
